TRY THESE FREE GREAT WAYS TO GET WET The Gaylord Opryland Resort has a new Friday night ''Poolapalooza'' Pool Party at 6 p.m. on Fridays in June, where you (21 and older) can swim and listen to a poolside concert at the Cascades pool. The first one is this Friday featuring BMI Songwriter of the Year Jeffrey Steele. The party is free and so is parking. 1-888-672-0091. Most of our area lake beaches charge a $4 per car access fee, but Lock 3 Beach on Old Hickory Lake off Walton Ferry Road in Hendersonville is free all the time, and has a swimming beach and picnic tables. 822-4846. Enjoy some water fun at the Don Fox Community Park, 955 Baddour Parkway in Lebanon, where there's a wading pool designed for young children, water umbrellas and other fun spraying features. There's a 2½-mile paved trail, a track, an exercise station and plenty of picnic tables. 449-0303. We have been there and it is fun to meet a bunch of people there. Take a free canoe float on Radnor Lake. This Otter Creek Road state park offers night hikes, early morning and evening canoe floats and miles of lovely wooded trails to explore. 373-3467

Farmers Market Free Fun Make a trip to the Nashville Farmers' Market at 900 Eighth Ave. N. It's fun to walk the stalls outside and enjoy the restaurants inside.
